Learned from technique scrolls, mission rewards, written scrolls and scroll merchants; some NPC ninja know it. It counts toward the ninja build like other trees.

Edo Tensei (Impure World Reincarnation) S

Chakra 140. S-rank. Forbidden. Call a dead person back into a body of ash. Touch a human corpse, or a grave or casket that holds one; a living sacrifice (someone down, or a prisoner) must be next to it, and is turned to ash. The dead return with their name, skills and traits, bound to you and on your side. They feel no pain, their wounds knit, and they never eat or sleep. Killed, they re-form from their ashes after about three hours unless the body is destroyed. If you die, everyone you hold crumbles. They start bound (emotionless: no mood or mental breaks, but no social, art or research work); Awaken / Bind switches them. You can hold two at a time.

Bound: emotionless and obedient: no mood, mental breaks or inspirations, and no need for food, sleep, recreation, comfort or beauty, but no social, artistic or intellectual work. Awakened: their feelings return: moods, relationships and mental breaks again, and any work, but still no food or sleep.

Chakra is the technique's base cost, the number in its def. In play it is multiplied by the pawn's chakra energy usage multiplier, which traits (chakra artificer 90%, volatile conduit 110%), World of Naruto genes and jutsu enhancements change, so the technique window can show a slightly different number for each ninja. Cooldowns are in-game time, as the technique window shows them, and the pawn's cooldown stat shortens or lengthens them. World of Naruto gives every ninja a base of 100 maximum chakra; genes and traits change it.
