Kazeraikou, the storm clan

The clan of storms and dragons, created by Marii from NFRP and used with her permission.

In short

The storm clan created by Marii from NFRP: Ryuugan, the Tempest, storm clouds that other cloud techniques need first, the Storm Clone, and the summonable storm dragon Kishinryuu, which can be ridden and flown.

The clan
  • Kazeraikou pawns carry the Ryuugan and channel the Tempest. Their tree has storm clouds, lightning and wind techniques, and the clan vest.
  • Storm clouds have a "Dispel cloud" button. Cloud techniques (Kubo Buruto: Cloud Bolt, Arashi Ryuu: Storm Dragon, Arashi Yari: Storm Spears, Raiun Kyakuriki: Cloud Stepping) need a storm cloud (Kumo Soushi) in place first.
  • Arashi Ryuu (Storm Dragon): a lead storm dragon pours out of the cloud with two smaller escorts as a flowing stream: the head leads, the storm-cloud body sways and scrolls behind it, and the tail follows it into the enemy, ending in a lightning burst. The Storm Dragon as a flowing stream setting switches back to the older painted dragon.
  • Arashi Tama (Storm Bullets) and every other NFRP shooting technique show a muzzle flash and a small recoil at the caster's hand for each shot, and each bullet leaves an element-coloured trail.
  • Storm Clone (Arashi Bunshin) makes a copy of the user that knows the user's Channeling of the Tempest techniques, and only those, as in the archive. When it ends or is killed it bursts into wind, water and lightning, and the weapon and clothes made for it vanish with it. Its second rank, learned with more training, splits off two clones at once for twice the chakra.
  • The big Kazeraikou arts have their own signature looks (see Visual effects): Storm Dome raises a dome and a ring of storm walls, Storm Spears rains spears, Fear of the Dragon rears a water dragon's head, Storm Knight raises a wall, Hurricane spins crescents, Kishinryuu arrives with a lightning dragon's head, a pillar and bolts, and Sansutomu no Kishinryuu fills the map with bolts and a swirling storm.
Kishinryuu
  • The storm dragon Kishinryuu can be summoned. It has five techniques of its own: Storm Breath, Water Dragon Bullet, Great Tidal Wave, Thunder Rain and Storm Torrent. It uses them by itself (there's an "Auto techniques" toggle), or you can aim them while it's drafted.
  • A pawn riding Kishinryuu through Giddy-Up counts as riding a flying mount and gets the Fly order. See Mounts and flying.
  • Sansutomu no Kishinryuu turns the whole map's weather to a thunderstorm.
